After a string of three wins, Riverside's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Westlake Demons, falling 13-3.

Spencer Short was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Westlake, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will head out to take on Cleveland Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Westlake, they will venture away from home to face off against Steele at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
