Preview: Neshoba Central vs. West Point

Neshoba Central may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will take on West Point in each of the teams' third playoff contest on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Neshoba Central skips in on ten wins and West Point on 12.

The Rockets were able to grind out a solid win over Lake Cormorant last week, winning 36-28. Jarquez Hunter went supernova for the Rockets as he rushed for 204 yards and four TDs on 26 carries. This makes it 13 games in a row in which Hunter has produced a touchdown.

Meanwhile, West Point earned some more postseason success in their matchup last Friday. They came out on top against Lafayette by a score of 21-14.

With both teams having displayed their playoff mettle, spectators can expect a high-quality contest. Keep track of this and all the high school football postseason action on MaxPreps.com.
