Aletheia Christian Academy is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Lighthouse Baptist Academy. The Lions claimed a resounding 70-34 win over the Ambassadors. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Lions had established a 28-point advantage.

Meanwhile, South Baldwin Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-40 heartbreaker at the hands of Full Life Christian Academy. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly three points.

Aletheia Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over South Baldwin Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in February, winning 58-51. Will the Lions repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
