Basketball Recap: Bauxite Comes Up Short

Bauxite lost against Fountain Lake back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bauxite Miners were beaten by the Fountain Lake Cobras 52-22. The match marked the Miners' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bauxite has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. As for Fountain Lake, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bauxite will head out to take on Mills University Studies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mills University Studies will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Bauxite surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fountain Lake, they will venture away from home to challenge Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fountain Lake is facing Hall at the right time seeing as Hall is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
