Aurora Central Catholic waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the IC Catholic Prep Knights a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Chargers, who have now won nine matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Aidan Crisci and Leo Corral did most of the damage at the plate: Crisci went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Corral went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs Corral has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Raul Gomez, Jr, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Aurora Central Catholic's record now sits at 12-10. As for IC Catholic Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Aurora Central Catholic will have a chance to go back-to-back against IC Catholic Prep: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
