Softball Recap: Decatur Bulldogs vs. Lakeside Vikings
Decatur lost against Lakeside back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Decatur Bulldogs fell just short of the Lakeside Vikings by a score of 7-6. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Decatur's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9. As for Lakeside, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Decatur will head out to square off against Pace Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lakeside, they and North Atlanta are set to duel on Thursday.
