Cold Springs unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the West Point Warriors on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 25 in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-12.

The victory was the third in a row for West Point, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Cold Springs is headed away from home for the first time to take on Good Hope at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West Point, they have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against North Crowley on the 22nd.
