Softball Recap: Logan-Magnolia Comes Up Short

After flying high against IKM/Manning on Monday, Logan-Magnolia came back down to earth. The Panthers took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Missouri Valley Big Reds on Tuesday. The Panthers have struggled against the Big Reds recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Logan-Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Missouri Valley, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-2.

Logan-Magnolia has already played their next contest (against Audubon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Missouri Valley, they will take on St. Albert at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in the Big Reds' favor as the team sits on 11 straight wins at home while the Falcons have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
