Softball Game Preview: West Prairie Cyclones vs. Camp Point Central Panthers

The West Prairie Cyclones will take on the Camp Point Central Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

West Prairie couldn't beat Abingdon/Avon on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Cyclones fell just short of the Tornadoes by a score of 7-6. The Cyclones haven't had much luck with the Tornadoes recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Camp Point Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 14-8 to Liberty. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Panthers have suffered since April 6, 2024.

West Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Camp Point Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-5.
