Basketball Game Preview: Lynn Camp Wildcats vs. Whitley County Colonels

The Lynn Camp Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Whitley County Colonels at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Lynn Camp lost 66-45 to Owsley County on Thursday. The Wildcats have struggled against the Owls / Lady Owls recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whitley County). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Red Bird 95-26. The Colonels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Whitley County is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.8 points over those games. As for Lynn Camp, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Lynn Camp was taken down by Whitley County 71-32 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Lynn Camp avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
