Navajo Prep is 7-2 against Newcomb since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Amia Salazar was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kira Begay, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
