La Joya Community won the last time they faced Maryvale and things went their way on Monday too. The Fighting Lobos were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

The victory didn't come easy: Maryvale scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 26-24.

La Joya Community is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Maryvale, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-11.
