Gatlinburg-Pittman piles up the points against Bullitt Central

Recap: Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders vs. Bullitt Central Cougars

The Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season. Couldn't have asked for a better way to wrap up 2023 than the 89-47 stomp they got on the road against Bullitt Central. Winning may never get old, but Gatlinburg-Pittman sure is getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Ty Glasper was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 36 points and 5 assists. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Gatlinburg-Pittman's points. Another player making a difference was Carlos Orr, who scored 11 points along with six assists and six rebounds.

Gatlinburg-Pittman's victory bumped their record up to 14-2. As for Bullitt Central, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Gatlinburg-Pittman won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Trion at 7:00 p.m. on December 28th. Trion is looking to tack on another W to their seven-game streak on the road. As for Bullitt Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitefield Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitefield Academy is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
