Volleyball Game Preview: Washington Rams vs. Maricopa Rams

Washington will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Maricopa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Washington came up short against Fairfax and fell 3-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Washington ultimately came up short, they really made Fairfax work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 29-27, 17-25, 25-16.

The losing side was boosted by Alexander Benitez Lopez, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Meanwhile, Maricopa suffered their biggest loss since April 11, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against McClintock, falling 3-0. The loss was the Rams' first of the season.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Maricopa, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
