Basketball Recap: Rank Disadvantage No Problem for Antwerp

Antwerp can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They walked away with a 40-32 win over the Hicksville Aces. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Archers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 684th, while the Aces are ranked 287th).

Antwerp's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Hicksville, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Antwerp will face off against Tinora at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hicksville, they will be playing at home against Edgerton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Edgerton will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Hicksville surely won't give up without a fight.
