Softball Recap: Clawson Now 9-2 over Last 11 Games

Clawson proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by ten) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Cousino Patriots 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Trojans have posted since April 24th.

Clawson has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. As for Cousino, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clawson will host Center Line at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in the Trojans' favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while the Panthers have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Cousino, they will welcome Port Huron at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
