Poteet had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They never let the Seagoville Dragons get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Seagoville from everywhere, as ten different players booted in a goal. Yaretzi Munoz led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Poteet's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Seagoville, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-13.
