Volleyball Recap: Escondido Adventist Academy's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against Bonsall two weeks ago, Escondido Adventist Academy came back down to earth. The Escondido Adventist Academy Hawks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the San Diego Academy Cavaliers on Saturday. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cavaliers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 23-25, 25-20.

Escondido Adventist Academy's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2. As for San Diego Academy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Escondido Adventist Academy will venture away from home to challenge Valley Center at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Diego Academy, they will host Sweetwater at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sweetwater will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something San Diego Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
