Basketball Game Preview: Lakota Tech Tatanka vs. Crow Creek Chieftains

Lakota Tech is a perfect 3-0 against Crow Creek since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 3:00 p.m. without much rest, having both just played. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lakota Tech and seven for Crow Creek dating back to last season.

Lakota Tech's tournament run continued when they took on McLaughlin on Friday. The Tatanka took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, Crow Creek was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 43-39 to Lower Brule.

Lakota Tech's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Crow Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Lakota Tech strolled past Crow Creek in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a score of 79-62. Do the Tatanka have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chieftains turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
