Baseball Recap: Harrison Find Success

It's playoff time, and Harrison had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Kokomo Wildkats by a score of 5-2 on Saturday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Wildkats recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Jeremy Lowrey looked comfortable as he struck out nine batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nolan Hodnett, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew McTagertt, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Kokomo, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-11.

As of now, neither Harrison nor the Wildkats have any future games scheduled.
