Basketball Recap: Sierra Takes a Loss

Sierra was the 60-56 winner over Madera when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Sierra Chieftains took a 54-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madera Coyotes.

Sierra has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Madera, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sierra will head out to challenge Immanuel at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Madera, they are taking a road trip to take on Justin Garza at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
