Softball Recap: Solorio Takes a Loss

After flying high against Goode STEM Academy on Saturday, Solorio came back down to earth. The Sun Warriors came up short against the Juarez Eagles on Monday, falling 16-6. The loss continues a trend for the Sun Warriors in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Natalie Pacheco made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Solorio now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Juarez, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Eagles beat Solorio by a score of 10-0 later that day.
