Baseball Recap: Huntington North Takes a Loss

Huntington North was the 5-4 winner over Leo when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell 10-7 to the Lions on Saturday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brady Harris made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. He is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as he's now launched at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was James Linker, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Huntington North's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Leo, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-4.

While Huntington North had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
