Volleyball Game Preview: Whitewater Wildcats vs. Cherokee Bluff Bears

The Whitewater Wildcats will challenge the Cherokee Bluff Bears on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Whitewater is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Calhoun 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since September 23rd.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Cherokee Bluff sidestepped Academy of Richmond County for a 3-2 win.

Cherokee Bluff's victory bumped their record up to 31-13. As for Whitewater, their win bumped their record up to 26-7-1.

Whitewater couldn't quite get it done against Cherokee Bluff in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
