Football Recap: Scott Comes Up Short

Scott was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 26-14 to the Waite Indians. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Scott's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Waite, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Scott will challenge Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Waite, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lima Senior at 7:00 p.m. The Indians will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.
