Camden County won the last time they faced Manteo, and Xzavior Wiggins did his part to make sure it happened again. The Camden County Bruins took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging an 83-47 victory over the Manteo Redskins thanks in part to Wiggins, who posted 40 points in addition to seven assists and seven boards. He has become a key player for Camden County: the team is 9-4 when he posts at least 20 points, but 3-7 otherwise.

Several Redskins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brant Williams, who scored six points and five rebounds. What's more, Williams also posted a 60% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Jahmir Burton-Bailey was another key player, putting up eight points.

Camden County now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Manteo, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.

Camden County will have a chance to go back-to-back against Manteo: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
