Softball Recap: Mackinaw City Comes Up Short

Mackinaw City couldn't beat Cedarville on Monday even though they stacked four runs on them in the second inning. The Comets lost 18-7 to the Trojans. The Comets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 21-6.

Mackinaw City has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Cedarville, their record now sits at 5-8.

Coming up, Mackinaw City will venture away from home to face off against Atlanta at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cedarville, they will host Wolverine at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
