You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Belt's strategy against Chinook on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Huskies blew the Beeters out of the water with a 47-18 final score. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Huskies had established a 21-point advantage.

Belt's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Aaliyah Gaylord led the charge by going 5-for-11 en route to 15 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Maren Keaster, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

Belt's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Belt will head out on the road to square off against Box Elder at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chinook, they will be home for the holidays to greet Rocky Boy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give the Beeters their first taste of in-conference action this season.
