Lakin extended their winning streak to 11 on Monday, bumping them up to 34-4. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Norton Bluejays. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on October 4th.

As for Norton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-15 record this season. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Despite the loss, Norton saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Halle Pfannenstiel had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces set a new season-high mark for Pfannenstiel.

Lakin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 0-0 draw against Southwestern Heights on the 25th. Norton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
