Basketball Recap: North Dallas Takes a Loss

After flying high against Conrad last Monday, North Dallas came back down to earth. The North Dallas Bulldogs had to suffer through a 80-25 loss at the hands of the Carter Cowboys. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 814th, while the Cowboys are ranked 119th).

North Dallas' defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Carter, they pushed their record up to 20-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

North Dallas will host Pinkston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Carter, they will head out to challenge Kimball at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Kimball knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Carter likes a good challenge.
