Volleyball Recap: Abby Flattich Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Bible Baptist Christian

Trinity Christian won the last time they faced Bible Baptist Christian and things went their way on Monday too. Trinity Christian was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Bible Baptist Christian. The win made it back-to-back victories for Trinity Christian.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Trinity Christian took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-12, 25-12.

Trinity Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Abby Flattich out in front who had 13 digs and eight aces. Those eight aces gave Flattich a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sydney Lane, who had six digs and six aces.

They weren't the only good server: Trinity Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 24 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in four consecutive games dating back to last season.

Trinity Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Bible Baptist Christian, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Trinity Christian has already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Savannah Athletic Association on the 19th. After both having extra time off, Bible Baptist Christian and Alleluia Community will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give the Wolves their first taste of in-conference action this season.
