Volleyball Recap: Foster Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Foster entered their tilt with Alief Hastings on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bears. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 3rd.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Foster took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-3, 25-8.

Among those leading the charge was Avery Adamson, who had seven assists and six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high.

Adamson wasn't the only good servers: Foster was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Foster's win bumped their record up to 25-7. As for Alief Hastings, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-24 record this season.
