Softball Recap: White Oak Comes Up Short

White Oak was the 6-1 winner over Texas when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The White Oak Roughnecks took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Texas Tigers on Saturday.

White Oak's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-5-1. As for Texas, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. White Oak will head out to take on Tatum at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Texas, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Texas' pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so Whitehouse's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
