Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson fell victim to Huron and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Chiefs, falling 12-0. The Bears haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Huron, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson will head out to face off against Flat Rock at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Huron, they will venture away from home to take on Carlson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Marauders will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Chiefs surely won't give up without a fight.
