Volleyball Recap: Collierville Comes Up Short

Collierville lost against Arlington on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Dragons fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1. While the Dragons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 25-16 in the first set.

Collierville actually scored more points across those three sets (60-57), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-21, 16-14.

Collierville's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Arlington, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Collierville will face off against Marion at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arlington, they will square off against St. Mary's Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
