Basketball Recap: Yavneh Academy Piles Up the Points Against Highlands

Yavneh Academy won the last time they faced Highlands and things went their way on Thursday too. The Yavneh Academy Bulldogs took their match with ease, bagging a 69-33 victory over the Highlands Blazers. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.

Yavneh Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Darren Sacher, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendy Eber, who went 6 of 8 en route to 13 points and four steals.

Yavneh Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.
