Basketball Recap: Locust Grove Takes a Loss

Locust Grove was the 65-36 winner over Keys when they last played one another back in December of 2014, but their luck changed this time around. The Locust Grove Pirates took a 59-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Keys Cougars on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Locust Grove's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Keys, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Locust Grove and Keys could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Locust Grove (ranked 252nd) will meet Catoosa (ranked 56th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Keys will take on Okay at 7:30 p.m. on Monday down 129 places (239 vs. 110).
