The Oswego East Wolves lost against the Waubonsie Valley Warriors back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The contest was Laub's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Danyella Mporokoso, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds.

Oswego East will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Plainfield East at 6:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Waubonsie Valley will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Willowbrook at 1:30 p.m. on December 26th. Willowbrook will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 289th, while Waubonsie Valley is ranked 16th).
