Basketball Game Preview: Rittman Indians vs. Chippewa Chipps

Rittman hasn't had much luck against Chippewa recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rittman Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chippewa Chipps at 6:00 p.m.

Rittman is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 22nd straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 50-18 loss at the hands of Hillsdale.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chippewa, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 51-42 win over Waynedale on Saturday. Given the Chipps' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Golden Bears are ranked 345th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chippewa is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.7 points per game. As for Rittman, their loss dropped their record down to 0-19.
