Baseball Game Preview: Duxbury Dragons vs. North Quincy Raiders

The Duxbury Dragons are taking a road trip to square off against the North Quincy Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Duxbury 2.2, North Quincy 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Duxbury's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Silver Lake Regional. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Quincy is still undefeated this season after their game against Hingham on Monday, but Hingham came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Raiders came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Harbormen. While the Raiders didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The victory keeps Duxbury at an undefeated 3-0-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for North Quincy, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
