Tabb and Grafton are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2018, but likely not for long. The Tigers will head out on the road to square off against the Clippers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Tabb has given up an average of 8.4 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tabb lost 14-2 to New Kent on Friday.

Tabb saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Milenah Camacho, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Meanwhile, Grafton got the win against Bruton on Friday by a conclusive 17-7. Considering the Clippers have won four contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Alexis Henley, who went 1-for-5 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for Grafton and bumps their season record up to 5-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Tabb, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season.

Tabb was able to grind out a solid win over Grafton when the teams last played back in March, winning 5-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
