Advanced Math & Science Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Jenna Eagles and Adrian Murphy. Eagles had nine digs and two aces, while Murphy had 19 digs, four aces, and two kills. Those four aces gave Murphy a new career-high.
Sutton's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-13. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.
