Soccer Recap: Lighthouse Christian Gets the Win

Lighthouse Christian kept a clean sheet against Wichita HomeSchool on Monday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Warriors 1-0. That's more bragging rights for Lighthouse Christian, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Lily Ray, who's now up to 32 this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Lighthouse Christian and bumps their season record up to 12-8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matchups. As for Wichita HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7-1.

Lighthouse Christian wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 6-1 loss against Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool on the 12th. Wichita HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
