Softball Recap: LaSalle-Peru Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, LaSalle-Peru couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 7-0 to the Pontiac Indians on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cavaliers have suffered since May 18, 2024.

LaSalle-Peru got a good showing from Claire Boudreau, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

LaSalle-Peru's loss dropped their record down to 30-6. As for Pontiac, they pushed their record up to 24-9 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

As of now, neither LaSalle-Peru nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
