Baseball Recap: Haverhill Comes Up Short

Haverhill fell victim to North Andover and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 10-0 to the Scarlet Knights. The loss continues a trend for the Hillies in their meetings with the Scarlet Knights: they've now lost six in a row.

Haverhill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for North Andover, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Haverhill will challenge Andover at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Golden Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hillies surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Andover, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 7-2 victory against Westford Academy on the 3rd.
