Volleyball Game Preview: Carlisle Indians vs. Leverett's Chapel Lions

The Carlisle Indians will face off against the Leverett's Chapel Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Carlisle is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They came out on top against King's Academy by a score of 3-1. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

In the three sets Carlisle was on fire: they won each by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Leverett's Chapel had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Union Hill.

Leverett's Chapel had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-22, 25-14, 25-15.

Everything went Carlisle's way against Leverett's Chapel in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as Carlisle made off with a 3-0 win. Do the Indians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
