Highland can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They blew past the Wiggins Tigers 7-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Highland.
Hunter Lopez and Stetson Hendren did most of the damage at the plate: Lopez got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, a double, and an RBI, while Hendren scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of JR Orquiz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
On Wiggins' side, Grayson Johnson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
Highland now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Wiggins, their loss dropped their record down to 9-12.
