Soccer Recap: Columbus East Starts Season with Win Against Whiteland

Columbus East had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They beat the Whiteland Warriors by a goal, winning 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Columbus East were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ethan Glick.

Columbus East has already played their next contest (against East Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Whiteland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Triton Central on the 19th.
