Softball Recap: Central Takes a Loss

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Carl Hayden Community Falcons, falling 18-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered against the Falcons since March 19, 2018.

Central saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Wiggins, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Carl Hayden Community, their win ended a 17-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Falcons beat Central by a score of 15-5 on Thursday.
