Soccer Game Preview: Gordon Central vs. Griffin

The Gordon Central Warriors will face off against the Griffin Bears at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Gordon Central's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Gordon Central's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past Ringgold 1-0. Gordon Central haven't had any issues with Ringgold recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Griffin didn't have quite enough to beat Luella on Friday and fell 3-2.

Gordon Central now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Griffin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
